So I'm more than halfway through my editorial pass on DEFIANT and so far I've netted about 1,500 new words. This shouldn't surprise me, should it? I mean after all this time you'd think I would KNOW that I write pretty good first drafts. The thing is, DEFIANT had probably the most well-defined story of the trilogy prior to my sitting down as any of them. So there's that.

In other writing-related news, I signed a contract for a top-secret anthology that hasn't been announced by the publishers yet, so I won't tell, but what I will say is... ICEBREAKER is the story title.
